New MCHS student enrollment begins Monday 7/15/24 at the high school. Please bring all information needed (can be found on website). Our hours of enrollment will be from 10am-1pm, in the Guidance Dept., Monday thru Thursday, until the school year begins on 8/27/24. New students are any student that did not finish the 23/24 school year in a Muhlenberg County School. This applies to new to our school and/or returning students from homeschool or other counties.
Announcement: Krista Thompson and Drew Diedrich will be the new E-Sport coaches for Muhlenberg County High School for the 24/25 school year. Congratulations to you both!
MCHS would like to announce Joel Watson as our new Head Band Director.
Mr. Joel Watson began teaching in August 2010, serving as the Director of Bands at Muhlenberg South Middle School and Associate Director of Bands for Muhlenberg County High School. His responsibilities at South Middle included teaching 6th grade beginning band, 7th grade band, 8th grade band, and three general music classes. The bands and students under his direction consistently received distinguished ratings at KMEA District 3 Large Ensemble Performance Assessment Event and superior ratings at Trills and Thrills Music Festivals.
As an active trumpet player, he performs with Sacred Winds Ensemble, West Kentucky Trumpet Ensemble, and First Baptist Church of Greenville. Mr. Watson resides in Greenville, KY with his wife Megan, two daughters Kylie and Emily, and two great pyrenees dogs, Sugar and Trooper.
Congratulations, Mr. Watson!

24/25 School year online registration is available. Update any changes as needed through your parent portal.
On Friday, 5/10/24, at 3:30pm the window for schedule changes was closed. We will continue to process requests submitted prior to 3:30 on Friday. Schedule changes will be offered the first two days of the 24-25 school year only, as schedules may change over the summer based on availability and your Spring grades.
COLLEGE bound Seniors: Your FINAL transcript has to be sent to your college AFTER graduation via Parchment.com. It must be ordered by you It's free to do so until July, however, the sooner you send it the better. The transcript you already sent to be accepted is not your final.
FORMER GRADUATES; If you have not picked up your diploma from previous years, please do so asap. The will be moved to storage over the summer.
The mandatory Co-op meeting scheduled for today has been re-scheduled to May 15th at 4:30pm due to the threat of severe weather. The Dual-Credit meeting has also been postphoned to a date yet to be determined.
Student schedules for the 24-25 school year should be on Infinite Campus. Please fill out the Google form that is linked in students IC, was sent to school email and is on Google Classroom. The form will close at 3pm on Friday, May 10th.
Photo Phactory will be taking Prom Photo's this year. The price list is attached. Please contact them directly at 270-754-1600 with any questions.
