Any MCHS FFA Senior interested in the Murray FFA All Region Stars program needs to go to the FFA Google Classroom , look under "Classwork" , click on "Murray FFA All Region Stars Application". COMPLETE THE APPLICATION AND TURN IN TO MR. McELWAIN BY SEPTEMBER 16th.
Come join the Muhlenberg Dance Team for one night only! Your young kids, boys and girls, can come and experience what it is like to dance a routine. This is a free event for ages 3-13. We will practice on September 19 from 3:35 PM to 5:00 PM in the gym, and then we will perform at the high school football game on the 20th during the halftime show, which starts at 7:00 PM. Please fill out the attached form so we know how many to expect and what age groups will be attending.

MCHS Band Mattress Fundraiser is this Saturday, 8/17/24, from 10-5 in the gym. Come support our band program and upgrade your mattress at the same time.
IMPORTANT: MCHS Freshmen/New student open house is 8/20/24 from 9am-noon. Your students online registration must be completed prior to that day using Infinite Campus. Schedules and/or Chromebooks will not be given out without having completed online registration.
ATTN Class of 2024: We still have tons of diplomas to be picked up.
We DO NOT mail them. Also, we have received another delivery of graduation pictures, please stop by get yours from 10-1 this week.
Yearbooks will arrive to MCHS in just a few days! Specific days & times for pickup will be announced on Monday. We have worked hard on this book and are excited to share Legacy: Volume 15 with Mustang Nation! We have greatly appreciated your patience.

New MCHS student enrollment begins Monday 7/15/24 at the high school. Please bring all information needed (can be found on website). Our hours of enrollment will be from 10am-1pm, in the Guidance Dept., Monday thru Thursday, until the school year begins on 8/27/24. New students are any student that did not finish the 23/24 school year in a Muhlenberg County School. This applies to new to our school and/or returning students from homeschool or other counties.
Announcement: Krista Thompson and Drew Diedrich will be the new E-Sport coaches for Muhlenberg County High School for the 24/25 school year. Congratulations to you both!
MCHS would like to announce Joel Watson as our new Head Band Director.
Mr. Joel Watson began teaching in August 2010, serving as the Director of Bands at Muhlenberg South Middle School and Associate Director of Bands for Muhlenberg County High School. His responsibilities at South Middle included teaching 6th grade beginning band, 7th grade band, 8th grade band, and three general music classes. The bands and students under his direction consistently received distinguished ratings at KMEA District 3 Large Ensemble Performance Assessment Event and superior ratings at Trills and Thrills Music Festivals.
As an active trumpet player, he performs with Sacred Winds Ensemble, West Kentucky Trumpet Ensemble, and First Baptist Church of Greenville. Mr. Watson resides in Greenville, KY with his wife Megan, two daughters Kylie and Emily, and two great pyrenees dogs, Sugar and Trooper.
Congratulations, Mr. Watson!

24/25 School year online registration is available. Update any changes as needed through your parent portal.
On Friday, 5/10/24, at 3:30pm the window for schedule changes was closed. We will continue to process requests submitted prior to 3:30 on Friday. Schedule changes will be offered the first two days of the 24-25 school year only, as schedules may change over the summer based on availability and your Spring grades.
COLLEGE bound Seniors: Your FINAL transcript has to be sent to your college AFTER graduation via Parchment.com. It must be ordered by you It's free to do so until July, however, the sooner you send it the better. The transcript you already sent to be accepted is not your final.
FORMER GRADUATES; If you have not picked up your diploma from previous years, please do so asap. The will be moved to storage over the summer.
The mandatory Co-op meeting scheduled for today has been re-scheduled to May 15th at 4:30pm due to the threat of severe weather. The Dual-Credit meeting has also been postphoned to a date yet to be determined.
Student schedules for the 24-25 school year should be on Infinite Campus. Please fill out the Google form that is linked in students IC, was sent to school email and is on Google Classroom. The form will close at 3pm on Friday, May 10th.
