Brad Rogles

Athletics Director

My name is Brad Rogles and I am enjoying my position as Athletic Director of Muhlenberg County High School. Prior to this position, I was a special education English teacher for 9 years and an FMD teacher for 3 years. I was an assistant baseball coach at Muhlenberg South High School for 2 years before consolidation, and then I remained as an assistant the first 3 years of MCHS. Following those years, I was named head coach in 2012-2013, where I remained for 6 more seasons. I have also coached collegiately in the Summer for the Muhlenberg Stallions in the Ohio Valley League for 4 Summers. I graduated from Muhlenberg South High School in 2002 and went on to obtain my B.A in Sociology from the University of Kentucky in 2007. From there I received my M.A in Learning and Behavior Disorders from Murray State University in 2012, and finally my Rank 1 in School Leadership and Administration from the University of the Cumberlands in 2019.

My wife, Tally, is also an educator at Greenville Elementary School where she is currently in the Kindergarten classroom. She has also taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades and has also completed her Rank 1 in School Leadership and Administration. We have two outstanding children, Ace (10) and his sister Andi (8) who both attend GES. Our family enjoys going to our children’s athletic events (baseball, softball, gymnastics, swimming, and basketball) and traveling as much as we can. We enjoy going to Busch Stadium to root on the Cardinals during the Summer, and Ace and I attend many St. Louis Blues hockey games throughout the Fall and Winter.

I have a tremendous support system at school and have already learned so much from the administrators who were already in place. It’s a great place to be with an awesome student body, fantastic staff, and a bright future!!! Go Mustangs!!!

Athletic Attendance Policy

In order to participate in athletic events, it’s the expectation that a student athlete be present at school for a minimum of 2 blocks of the school day on the date of the athletic event. This is effective the entire school year.

Also, in order to participate in athletic events (mandatory and non-mandatory practices, competitions, and other team sponsored events), a student athlete’s school attendance must be at least 90%. Attendance tracking includes excused and unexcused absences. The 90% attendance portion of the Athletic Attendance Policy will begin on September 1st of the school year. Attendance checks will be conducted on Friday of every week. If a student athlete is deemed ineligible due to attendance, they will be ineligible until their cumulative attendance is at 90% or above, for a minimum of 1 week (the following Monday-Sunday after the attendance check).

Student athletes have the right to appeal ineligibility decisions in writing to the high school administration. The high school administration reserves the right to rescind a student athlete’s ineligibility due to attendance on a case-by-case basis.
