Mr. Carver will be meeting with all seniors this Friday, April 26 during their lunches. Grab your lunch in the cafeteria and head to the Multipurpose Room for a Q&A with Mr. Carver regarding all things Seniors! Topics include: Sr. Awards Day, Prom, Graduation, Walks, Practice, Cap and Gown Pics, Senior Breakfast, etc.
Architect & Design Scholarship information (application is online)
1. Deadline for scholarship applications is May 8th (no exceptions).
Criteria:
1. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award.
2. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of application.
3. Applicants must intend to pursue a design-related course of study post-high school.
Application Process: Applicant must submit the following items:
1. Submit a cover letter identifies your interest in the scholarship and briefly describes
what has caused your passion in the design field and what you would like to
accomplish in the design industry.
2. Two letters of recommendations from choice of high school teacher/mentor,
administrators, counselors, employers, or individual with significant knowledge of the
applicant’s experience and an important characteristic or accomplishment of the
applicant.
3. An official and recent high school transcript with cumulative grade point average.

Scholarship Opportunity for Seniors.
The REALTOR® Association of Southern Kentucky (RASK) is excited to announce that we will once again be holding our annual essay competition and your senior students are eligible to participate! This year’s prizes are $1,500 for first place and $1,000 for 2nd place.
We request that you help locate students who might be interested in this opportunity. You might consider students whose goals are in the field of architecture, interior design, engineering, real estate, real estate law, graphics, carpentry, or other trades associated with housing or home ownership. Who is Eligible:

ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS WHO ARE ENROLLED IN DUAL CREDIT/ EARLY COLLEGE COURSE WORK:
MCHS juniors and seniors have an opportunity to apply for an additional scholarship through the Martin Foundation. This scholarship is made possible through the Felix E. Martin, Jr. Foundation and is awarded each semester. Students must apply for the scholarship each semester before being considered as a recipient of it. The scholarship is awarded on a merit/need basis and will generally cover a portion of the cost of tuition, books and/or fees.
The deadline to apply is 3:30pm on February 2nd. (This scholarship is for juniors and seniors only.)
