School District Parents & Families, The Muhlenberg County School District has partnered with Millennium Learning Concepts to conduct an Equity and Culture Assessment. This assessment and improvement-planning process will guide school administrators and teachers in developing equitable learning communities. According to Millennium, the quality of school culture is the most crucial factor in shaping and driving student achievement and in improving overall student and staff morale. Accurately assessing culture and gauging the degree that district/schools provide equitable learning environments are important first steps to address this issue. Part of the Equity and Culture Assessment is completing an Equity Survey. We encourage middle and high school students to fill out the survey. Anything reported to Millennium will be kept strictly confidential. Survey data will help the School District craft a comprehensive report and equity plan that will be utilized in developing trainings and educational opportunities to help strengthen our programs, meet the needs of our students and staff, and support the school/districts’ mission and vision. Participation is encouraged but not required. Please contact your child’s school if you have any questions regarding the Equity Survey. Thank you for helping us prepare our students to be productive and successful citizens.
