High Attendance Day

September 13 is High Attendance Day across Kentucky. Research proves that missing school for any reason, excused or unexcused, puts students at risk for falling behind in school.  "Our district is particularly committed to making sure that each student attends school regularly and on-time," stated Director of Pupil Personnel Alex Watkins.  According to the Kentucky Department of Education, showing up every day is a life skill that will help students in getting and keeping a job.  High school graduates earn, on average, $1 million more than dropouts over a lifetime.  Let's make this year's high attendance day  in Muhlenberg County Schools our best day yet and help us set our students up for a productive year.
