Tomorrow MCMS will celebrate Crazy Sock Day in honor of Down Syndrome Awareness! Students and staff are invited to wear their brightest, silliest, most mismatched socks to help spread a message of inclusion and awareness.
Why socks? Chromosomes look like the shape of socks, and individuals with Down Syndrome have three copies of the 21st Chromosome instead of two. Wearing crazy socks is a fun way to start conversations and show support for our Down Syndrome community!

Correction on picture orders: Only spring picture orders are due tomorrow. Graduation proofs will be sent home at a later date.
Spring & 8th grade graduation picture money is due on Thursday, March 19th. If you want to place an order after this date, please take orders & money to the Photo Phactory.

Last Chance Book Fair Shopping! The restock for the book fair did not arrive until this afternoon. We will offer one last chance to shop the book fair from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM tomorrow. Students may shop with cash, check, card, or e-Wallet.
Book fair will continue tomorrow through Friday. These language arts classes will shop tomorrow: Mrs. Underwood, Ms. Wilcox, Mrs. Perkins, Ms. Wright, & Mrs. Lyle. If a student didn't bring money on his/her shopping day on Friday or Monday, he/she may shop tomorrow as well. Tomorrow is the last day to order your copy of a 2026 MCMS yearbook. Only a few extra copies will be ordered. Visit jostens.com to purchase a yearbook. The cost is $50.
Tomorrow's FFA Spirit Week theme is Cowboy Day. Wear cowboy or cowgirl gear - boots, flannels, jeans, belt buckles, etc.
This is the last week to order your copy of a 2026 yearbook. Sales end on Sunday, March 1st. Only a few extra copies will be ordered. Visit jostens.com to purchase a yearbook, or send your payment (cash or check) to Mrs. Bruce in the library. The cost of a yearbook is $50.
The concession stand will open tomorrow after student lunches for students to purchase snacks. The price for items will range from $1 - $2.
Spring picture day is tomorrow! 8th grade graduation pictures will also be taken. We ask that 8th graders do not wear hoodies. Hoodies interfere with the gown students will wear for graduation pictures. Proofs will be sent home.
There's still time to purchase a yearbook. The cost is $50. Yearbooks will be sold through March 1st. A limited amount of extra yearbooks will be ordered. Get your copy now by visiting jostens.com, or you can send cash or a check to Mrs. Bruce in the library.
