Longest Elementary

Longest Elementary held their Destress for Success Family Event yesterday. Students and families enjoyed a variety of stations centered around our health and mindfulness. Thank you to all who helped. Here are a few pics capturing the event.

Today is School Resource Officer (SRO) Appreciation Day and Muhlenberg County Schools has a great group of officers working within our schools each day. Thank you, SROs, for making a difference in our schools and community!

All Muhlenberg County Schools will operate under normal schedule tomorrow. We can't wait to see all of your students and staff!

NTI Day #5 tomorrow. Please have students complete all assignments. Staff are available from 8-3 if you need NTI assistance. We hope to see everyone back at school soon. We miss our students!!

January is National School Board Recognition Month. We are thankful for our board members for all they do. They are responsible for making decisions aimed at ensuring that every child in our district as well as each employee has a chance to succeed in school, at work, and in life. Thank you, Stefanie Rager, Susan Wells, Rajiv Johar, Darrell Bowers, and Kim Bard, for your dedication and service to Muhlenberg County Schools!

Longest Elementary hosted a Celebration of Learning yesterday afternoon for all students and their families. Students shared in their classrooms all the wonderful things they have been learning over the past nine weeks. Students across the district participated in the national "See You at the Pole" day this morning before school. Several students at Longest Elementary met and Deputy Kerry Vincent shared a few thoughts.

Tomorrow is Granola with Grands for K and 5. If you plan to attend please park in the lot behind the gym. Be mindful that the car rider line will be dropping students off and exiting the same lot. Please enter through the gym lobby and check in. Doors open at 7:00. We hope to see you there.
